Afras Khattak

Afras Khattak joined Nussbaum Law as a lawyer in December 2020. He previously worked for law firms situated in the Durham Region and then Toronto before joining the Nussbaum Law team. Afras completed his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at York University and received his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, in British Columbia. He also completed his MBA through The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University, located in the United Kingdom.

Apart from his educational endeavors, Afras has a strong passion for family law, and he consistently keeps up to date on emerging issues regarding the formation of families, the regulation of intact families, and the dissolution of family relationships. He is well versed in all matters regarding custody, parenting time, support issues, CAS matters, and the division of family property at separation. Afras also understands that family matters can be very sensitive. His hands-on and compassionate approach is there to help you stay positive and remain level-headed when faced with these life-changing issues.

In his spare time, Afras enjoys keeping active and playing basketball. He is also a die-hard Toronto Raptors fan.
